This is the awesome Infiniti QX80 which www.carshowroom.com.au will be driving at the national media launch in Tasmania next week.
You see lots of QX80s (mostly in black) being driven by the ‘in’ crowd in Los Angeles and Miami and the Patrol-based full-size prestige SUV joins the Australian lineup priced from $110,900.
The powerful exterior looks are offset by a truly sumptuous interior and seating for up to the eight people in a two-three-three layout, lots of leather (and the leather-wrapped steering wheel is heated) and premium 15-speaker BOSE audio.
Power comes from the 298kW/560Nm 5.6-litre V8 driving through a seven-speed automatic transmission and the ALL-MODE 4x4 system
Infiniti is also brining the QX80 to Australia with its smart Hydraulic Body Motion Control system which reduces body roll on fast corners and provides for maximized suspension travel in off-road conditions.
With a towing capacity of 3,500kgs we’re thinking the equestrian set may find a lot of appeal in the Infiniti QX80.
