A photo of the new Infiniti Q30 concept car has surfaced ahead of its official premiere at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

"Q30 Concept is slender, sleek and seductive," said Alfonso Albaisa, Infiniti Executive Design Director. "When you see speedy big cats, like cheetahs, they have a slenderness and a lightweight stride. It's almost like they're floating.  That's the muscularity we were aiming for with Q30 Concept." Sebastian Vettel, Infiniti's Director of Performance has also had a hand in influencing the Q30 from its inception.

Infiniti hope that the latest concept will provide enough of a carrot to entice a new buyer to the brand.  The design is described as NOT a hatch, NOT a coupe and NOT a crossover but a car that has the fuses the three types together.

Hoping to hit the sweet spot the Q30 concept, Infiniti has developed a car that has a sportiness of a coupe, the roominess of a hatch and the higher stance of a crossover will resonate with these customers.

The Q30 will have its covers taken off in Frankfurt on September 10 at 10:15 am CET
