Hot on the heels of Mercedes-Benz circumnavigating the globe with its F-CELL vehicle, Korean giant Hyundai has shown its own hydrogen-electric ix35 in Denmark.
In fact the hydrogen-electric Hyundai ix35 FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle) drove 340kms non-stop from Holstebro in West Denmark to the meeting in Copenhagen, East Denmark.
Hyundai says the ix35 FCEV accelerates from zero to 160km/h in 12.8 seconds and has a top speed of 160km/h.
The Denmark drive is one of several Hyundai has planned following the January signing of agreements with four Northern European countries to run test fleets of FCEVs.
