The Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell can add another string to its bow in the form of a production hydrogen-powered land speed record.
The family focused hydrogen-powered SUV set a new production land speed record at the Soggy Dry Lake Bed of the California desert, with a top speed of 152km/h.

We drove the Hyundai ix35 at the proving ground in Korea and would love to see them on the roads in Australia – however the lack of infrastructure means we are a long way from seeing a hydrogen powered car at school drop off.
