Ute fans have a good reason to watch tonight’s telecast of the rugby league State Of Origin match from the Melbourne Cricket Ground – the debut of Holden’s sporty Colorado Z71.
Based on the Colorado LTZ 4x4 Crew Cab but loaded with extras, the Z71 model is good value as it carries a premium of only $4,000 (manual at $54,990 and the auto at $57,190).
Included are 18-inch ‘Arsenal Grey Metallic’ alloy wheels, leather seats (fronts heated), body-coloured sail plane with Z71 graphic, styled nudge bar, a dark chrome mask for the headlights, black exterior mirrors and highlight trim, a black bonnet, roof rails and a Streamline soft tonneau (a nard tonneau is on the options list).
As sports pick-up fans we reckon the Z71 Holden Colorado looks terrific.
