The countdown is on for the launch of the all-new Ford Mustang both here in Australia and in North America and Ford has released some details to the North American media.
Of particular interest ‘downunder’ is news the ‘Stang GT will enjoy a 324kW/542Nm 5.0-litre V8 engine. North American versions will also be offered with a 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder and a 3.7-litre V6.
The GT Performance Package brings handy extras like a front strut tower brace, firmer springs, dampers and anti-roll bar as well as revised stability and traction control (including a ‘burnout’ mode), a unique front spoiler with brake cooling ducts and Brembo brakes.
Ford will launch the stunning-looking all-new Mustang in both hardtop and convertible versions.
