Ford Launches Lifetime Capped-Price Servicing

Ford continues to impressively score points against rivals Toyota and Holden as all three count-down to the end of local manufacturing.

Today comes news Ford will offer the Ford Capped Price Servicing program for the life of the vehicle starting next year.

This is part of a major overhaul of Ford’s customer service program which also includes on-line service scheduling, with automated reminders via email or SMS prior to the day and during the day your car is at the dealership and interactive service reception provided by service advisors equipped with iPads and a vehicle report card provided after each service to keep you updated on the condition of consumable items like brakes, tyres and battery and provides transparency on times for replacement and costs.

It’s the introduction to Ford Australia’s dealership of the future outlined today as part of the improved customer service which will be the hallmark of Ford when it becomes a full-line importer.

More than 20 dealerships in Sydney and Melbourne have completed pilot programs and Ford plans to have 80 dealerships transformed by the end of 2015.

Part of the sweeping changes sees the introduction of a concierge to greet customers when they first arrive (to take some of the focus from just selling cars).
