Citroen’s all-new C4 small car – due for Australian launch in the middle of next year – has been awarded the maximum five-star safety rating by Euro NCAP.
In fact, the new Citroen C4 rated a 97 per cent score in Euro NCAP’s ‘Safety Assist’ category – the highest score for a vehicle in the small car segment.
The good-looking new Citroen C4 comes standard with ABS anti-lock brakes with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) and EBA (Emergency Braking Assistance) plus ESP (Electronic Stability Program) plus six airbags. In addition, all C4 models are equipped with a new blind-spot monitoring system.
The new C4’s performance in the tough Euro NCAP tests reflects the focus of Citroen – and other European brands – to deliver world-standard safety features as non-negotiable parts of their design and engineering strategies for new models.
