This is the McLaren 570S – the British marque’s entrée into higher volume market segments with models under the umbrella of ‘Sports Series’.
And while it’s McLaren’s so-called entry level model, performance isn’t lacking with the familiar 419kW/600Nm twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8 delivering a scintillating 3.2 seconds for zero to 100km/h.
Inside is an updated version of the carbon-fibre ‘MonoCell’ tub, fitted with the usual McLaren combination of gorgeous leather seats, Alcantara and a LCD instrument cluster.
Styling sees new headlights and a rear-end which echoes the look of McLaren’s P1.
