Mitsubishi’s competent Triton ute range has been boosted by the arrival of a Club Cab version as part of the 2011 lineup.
Available in both Pick-Up and Cab-Chassis variants, the new Triton Club Cab is based on the GLX model grade but gains front bucket seats, flip-up second row seats and some extra interior convenience items.
There is also the usual Triton extensive equipment list including dual front airbags, ABS anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and optional active stability and traction control.
Power comes from Mitsubishi’s 2.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel which is good for 131kW at 4,000 rpm and 400Nm at 2,000 rpm. Combined cycle fuel consumption is 8.1l/100ksm.
With a tray length up to 1,805mm, Triton affords a towing capacity of 2,700kgs and a maximum payload of 1,057kgs (Pick-Up) or 1,192kgs (Cab-Chassis).
The new Mitsubishi Triton Club cab ute is stickered at $38,990.
