The BMW Z4 is a CarShowroom favourite and now comes news of some major upgrades for BMW’s iconic two-seater.
No changes for the all BMW TwinPower Turbo engine lineup. That’s two four-cylinder (135kW/270Nm for the sDrive 20i and 180kW/350Nm for the sDrive 28i) and the range-topping six-cylinder sDrive 35is is good for 250kW/450Nm.
However the four-cylinder models now drive through BMW’s eight-speed automatic transmission (seven-speed double-clutch auto for the SDrive 35is
But on the outside, BMW fans will immediately pick the new accents around the headlights and indicator lights (front and side) and those Bi-xenon headlights now feature LED light rings. The sDrive 28i scores new 18-inch alloy wheels while the sDrive 35is goes up from 18-inch to 19-inch alloys.
Inside there are high-gloss black highlights and the trim options have a new addition – Fineline Anthracite wood.
Also new is BMW’s ‘Professional’ navigation system across the range offering an 8.8-inch colour display, bird’s eye view and 3D mapping.
