BMW has completed its Z4 roadster lineup with the launch of the range-topping Z4 sDrive35is.
Powered by BMW's 250kW/450Nm, 3.0-litre, twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine and driving through a seven-speed double-clutch transmission with Launch Control, the Z4 hero model can accelerate from zero to 100km/h in just 4.8 seconds. But thanks to BMW EfficientDynamics - including Brake Energy Regeneration and Electric Power Steering - fuel consumption and C02 emissions match the 225kW Z4 sDrive35i - 9.0l/100kms and 210g/km.
The BMW Z4 sDrive35is is distinguished by its standard M Sport package comprising an aggressive aerodynamic kit, Adaptive M suspension (with a 10mm lower ride height), M leather steering wheel, aluminium carbon trim and Anthracite roof liner. Z4's range-topper also gains 18-inch Star-Spoke alloy wheels and embroidered floor mats.
'The Z4 is already recognized as a design icon and triumph of engineering, leading its market segment in terms of global sales,' explained BMW Group Australia Managing Director, Stavros Yallouridis. 'Now in the form of the BMW Z4 sDrive35is, Australian performance enthusiasts can enjoy the ultimate BMW roadster experience.'
The BMW Z4 sDrive35is is priced at $129,900. Entry to the BMW Z4 family is the 2.5-litre Z4sDrive23i, priced at $86,200.
