When it comes to desirable new cars, this one is near the top of the list – the all-new BMW M4 Convertible which will debut at the New York International Auto Show in two weeks.
Based on the new 4 Series Convertible, the newcomer gets all the ‘M’ goodies – not the least of which is a new turbocharged 3.0-litre, six-cylinder engine primed to deliver 317kW/550Nm.
Driving through the optional seven-speed M Double Clutch automatic transmission, the BMW M4 Convertible covers zero to 100km/h in 4.4 seconds.
Styling changes for the open-top M4 over the regular 4 Series Convertible include a –‘power dome bonnet, flared wheelarches front and rear, ‘twinstalk’ exterior mirrors and ‘M 18-inch alloy wheels (19-inch optional).
The interior also gets the ‘M’ treatment.
