CarShowroom.com.au will put the all-new Infiniti Q50 through its paces at the national media launch next month but ahead of that, prices for the two-model lineup have been confirmed.
The Q50 2.2d (125kW/400Nm 2.2-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel) kicks things off at $51,900 and with combined cycle fuel consumption of 5.2l/100kms won’t be a frequent visitor to the fuel bowser.
Petrol power comes in hybrid form with the Infiniti Q50 Hybrid (268kW/546Nm 3.5l V6 hybrid) which starts at $67,900.
Both diesel and petrol variants are available as front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive and use a seven-speed automatic transmission with sequential manual mode.
And as we know, the Q50 debuts Infiniti’s world-first Direct Adaptive Steering which has already been re-tuned after attracting some criticism at the global media launch.
Inside, the Infiniti InTouch multimedia system combines two dashboard-mounted screens to synchronize car/driver/functionality.
The full lineup is:
2.2d GT $51,900
2.2d S $57,900
2.2d S Premium AWD $61,900
Hybrid S $67,900
