Ford will reveal its good-looking all-new S-MAX seven-seater in a couple of weeks at the Paris Motor Show and it too seems ideally suited to the Australian market.
Ford hasn’t left much on the shelf when it comes to technology for the all-new S-MAX – think LED headlights, Pre-Collision Assist, available all-wheel-drive, self-parking, Easy-Fold second and third row seats, hands-free tailgate, independent climate control for the rear and 32 seating and loadspace configurations.
The now superseded Ford S-Cross has enjoyed glowing reviews from the European media not only for its family-friendly practicality but also for its sporty driving dynamics and Ford says the all-new model delivers improvements across the board.
On the styling front, Ford Europe has delivered a sporty new look with the new ‘corporate’ front grille, lower roofline, slim-line lights and sporty wheel-arch bulges.
Compared to the outgoing model, the all-new Ford S-MAX features A-pillars moved aft for a sportier long bonnet look.
Inside is a vibrant new-look interior with quality materials, eight-inch touchscreen and a massive panoramic gloss roof lets-in plenty of light.
Front seats are heated and cooled and a massage function is available – a first in this class.
