Lexus will have all guns blazing at the Tokyo Motor Show in a couple of weeks – rolling-out the new RC Coupe and a handsome concept Crossover/SUV called LF-NX.
The RC Coupe looks like a cracker and will be shown in two models – RC 350 (3.5-litre V6 petrol) and RC 300h (2.5-litre hybrid).
Lexus says the RC Coupe debuts deeply contoured lines for obvious muscle and the lowest/widest application yet of the hallmark spindle grille. Wheels are 18-inch or 19-inch in 10-spoke or five-spoke designs.
Inside are sports seats moulded like race-car seats, the usual Lexus opulence with layered timber highlights and a new lighting system which sees the interior lights illuminated from below rather than downwards.
The Lexus LF-NX is a compact SUV/Crossover which debuted earlier this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show and employs a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine.
