Never in the history of the automotive industry has a company filled a gap in its model lineup faster or more comprehensively than Mercedes-Benz.
Boom! Here is the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe – the vehicle which replaces the ML Class SUV and sits between the GLA-Class and larger GL-Class.
This is the GLE 450 AMG Coupe, powered by the 270kW/521Nm bi-turbo V6 petrol engine, driving via the 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel-drive.
Mercedes-Benz says the GLE combines the versatility of an SUV with the sportiness of a coupe (heard that before a few times).
Debuting inside is that latest evolution of the AMG variable dynamic control system with settings ‘Individual’, ‘Comfort’, ‘Slippery’, ‘Sport’ and Sport+’.
And underneath we see the first pairing of Airmatic air suspension with Benz’ ADS Plus continuously variable damping system.
As well, the GLE is equipped with ‘Active Curve System’ – the active anti-roll bars which keep things level.
