Mazda has announced further details on the all-new Mazda3 which arrives early next year.
Safety gets a major boost with Blind Spot Monitoring, Smart City Brake Support and a new heads-up Active Driving Display. The head-up display is on a clear panel above the gauges and includes vehicle speed and turn-by-turn instructions from the satellite navigation.
Infotainment also steps up with improved connectivity, including social media and digital radio via the Pandora and Aha apps.
Both sedan and hatchback versions run the full suite of SKYACTIV technologies including SKYACTIVE-Drive automatic transmissions.
Two petrol engines will be available – a SKYACTIV-G 2.0-litre with 114kW/200Nm and a new 2.5-litre with 138kW/250Nm. Fuel consumption sounds impressive with the 2.0-litre rated at 5.7l/100kms and the 2.5-litre scoring 6.0l/100kms.
And as the photos reveal, the all-new Mazda3 certainly hits the sweet spot in the styling department with the latest interpretation of Mazda’s ‘KODO – Soul Of Motion’ design.
