Kia’s all-new third generation Sorento SUV takes centre stage at the Paris Motor Show in a couple of weeks.
Of particular interest for Australia, the all-new Sorento draws on the Kia Cross GT concept for its sleeker, more sophisticated looks and inside the interior goes up-market with a luxury look and better quality materials throughout.
Amongst the improved technology we’re to expect a four-camera Around View Monitor and Smart Power Tailgate.
All-new Kia Sorento will offer five and seven-seat configurations and luggage space rises to 605-litres.
Interior space is up thanks to extra dimensions – the all-new Kia Sorento is longer, wider and lower than the previous lineup and the wheelbase has grown accordingly.
In Europe, Kia will launch the all-new Sorento with either a 2.4-litre petrol engine or two turbo-diesels – 2.2-litre or 2.0-litre.
The updated Kia Rio is identified by a revised look inside and out and new alloy wheels in 15-inch, 16-inch and 17-inch sizes (depending on the model).
Australian versions will be powered by either 1.4-litre or 1.6-litre petrol engines.
Kia will also unveil and updated range of its Venga compact MPV (not sold here).
But of course, the big news for local buyers from Kia in Paris will be the debut of the all-new Grand carnival – Australia’s best-selling people mover.
