Ford has launched its all-new five-seat C-MAX and seven-seat Grand C-MAX in Europe and some suggest the compact people mover could have a future in Australia.
Certainly there is a gap in the Ford Australia product range for a car like the C-MAX and it is being built in right-hand drive for the British market.
The all-new C-MAX gains the new-look Ford styling (note the ‘corporate’ grille common to the all-new Mondeo and latest Falcon range).
Specifications are impressive, including the ‘soccer-kick’ automatic tailgate we know from the Ford Kuga, auto self-parking and Active City Stop collision avoidance.
And with twin, sliding side doors and ‘walk-through’ access, family-friendly practicality gets a green tick.
