Ford has flagged a Geneva Motor Show debut of its all-new B-Max city car in production form – 12 months after the techno-laden newcomer first appeared as a concept.
A major innovation are the doors which, like Toyota’s FJ Cruiser SUV, feature an integrated B-pillar which opens with the doors, enabling wide, unrestricted access to the interior both for passengers and load-carrying.
As well as the best-in-class-load carrying versatility, Ford says the all-new B-MAX will provide flexible seating and a high-quality interior trim to position it above current compacts.
Power comes from Ford’s 92kW 1.0-litre, three-cylinder EcoBoost engine.
