Additional 2WD Petrol Model Boosts Updated Hyundai ix35 Range

Hyundai’s updated ix35 SUV lineup adds a new two-wheel-drive model in the mid-grade ‘Elite’ specification.

Priced at $32,590, the Hyundai ix35 Elite 2WD is powered by the 2.0-litre petrol engine driving through an six-speed automatic transmission and it joins the two other 2WD versions (entry-grade ‘Active) [priced from $26,990.

In addition, the Hyundai ix35 ‘Elite’ is now available with the 122kW/197Nm 2.0-litre petrol engine (as well as the 2.4-litre version).

Inside, Hyundai ix35 benefits from additional features which make the compact SUV an even sharper value proposition.

Entry-grade Hyundai ix35 ‘Active’ adds a five-inch touch-screen six-speaker audio system.

Mid-range ix35 ‘Elite’ scores Hyundai’s latest 6.5-inch touch-screen satellite navigation, a rear-view camera, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning and an electro-chromatic rear-view mirror.
