Lexus has again challenged the Europeans by announcing its all-new slickly-styled and generously-equipped GS mid-size sedan will be priced from $77,900 (GS 250).
Lexus says the new pricing represents a 20 per cent improvement over the outgoing GS.
Powered by a 154kW V6, the all-new Lexus GS 250 will be launched in three variants – Luxury, Sport Luxury and F Sport.
Lexus GS 350 ups the ante with a class-leading 233kW, 3.5-litre V6. Like the GS 250, the Lexus GS 350 will be offered in Luxury, Sport Luxury and F Sport guise with prices starting at $89,900 (Luxury).
Priced at $99,900, the all-new hybrid-powered Lexus GS 450h is stickered some $20,000 below the current version as Lexus Australia seeks to ramp-up volume for the fuel-sipping hybrid version. Averaging 6.3l/100kms, the Lexus GS 450h delivers a combined 254kW of power and it too will be sold in three versions – Luxury, F Sport and Sport Luxury.
