Crewe’s motorsports program looks to have a very busy season ahead. Their 2020 motorsports program is made up of elite customer teams competing in the world’s leading GT3 championships and its works-supported Bentley Team M-Sport outfit which competes in the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC).
“We’ve been very careful to grow and adapt our programme in a way that is sustainable for us and beneficial to both our new and old customers, and I am very pleased that we have attracted teams that operate at the highest level. Bentley Team M-Sport has been instrumental in enabling us to grow our customer programme and build the Continental GT3s required for 2020, while also preparing for Bathurst 12 Hours and planning an extensive test schedule that will benefit all of our teams” said Bentley’s Director of Motorsport, Paul Williams.
Bentley Team M-Sport has worked with Bentley Motorsport since 2013 and are responsible for the development and build of the Bentley Continental GT3, while also running a race-winning team. The Cumbria-based outfit will be servicing Bentley teams alongside a five-round IGTC campaign.
Bentley works drivers will compete the full IGTC season with a pair of Continental GT3s that’s adorned in their new striking green livery. Maxime Soulet, Jordan Pepper and Jules Gounon will be piloting a craft for K-Pax Racing alongside regulars such as Andy Soucek, Alvaro Parente and Rodrigo Baptista.
K-Pax Racing, which has had two successful seasons with Bentley in the United States, will hop across the Pond to enter the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup with a pair of Continental GT3s, spearheading Crewe’s push to win at European circuits.
With more customer teams set to be announced in the coming weeks, Bentley Motorsport has been able to improve their service and increase development and testing of the Continental GT3.
