Lexus Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance to unveil the updated GS midsize sedan which is due to arrive in Australia from December 2015.
Updates for the Lexus GS include a new variant powered by Lexus’ new 180kW turbocharged 2.0-litre engine driving through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Locally the Lexus GS 200t will replace the current GS 250 model and will join the updated GS 300h, GS 350 and GS 450h.
It too gets a re-styled front-end with a bolder ‘spindle grille and bi-LED headlights as well as new tail-lights and rear bumper plus new paint colours.
Inside the updated Lexus GS scores the Lexus Safety System (Pre-Collision System, Lane Keeping Assist, Intelligent High Beam and dynamic cruise control),, a larger 4.2-inch multi-information display and – wait for it – an analogue clock with GPS time zone functionality.
Lexus will reveal full local specifications and prices closer to launch.
