Ahead of its launch on 27 April, Mitsubishi has been buoyed by the awarding of the maximum five-star safety rating from ANCAP for its all-new Triton ute range.
Like the all-new Nissan Navara, the Mitsubishi Triton ute comes standard with seven airbags (dual front SRS, side and curtain airbags plus a drovers’ knee bag).
There’s also electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and emergency brake assist (EBA).
Some models will come standard with a reversing camera which can be optioned on other models.
“The new Triton has been developed with passenger car-like attributes of comfort, quietness and advanced safety, while retaining triton’s traditional durability and toughness,” explained Mitsubishi Australia chief Mutsuhiro Oshikiri.
