The team at www.carshowroom.com.au spent our Christmas break in a Lexus NX300h Sport Luxury and enjoyed every minute in the all-new mid-size SUV.
As we know, the range is to be expanded by the introduction of a turbocharged petrol version which we’ll be driving next week – check back for our impressions in seven days.
Ahead of that, Lexus has revealed the petrol-fuelled NX will undercut the prices of the hybrid model – that’s enticing to say the least.
Like its hybrid sibling the Lexus NX 200t range kicks-off with a single two-wheel-drive variant which is stickered at $52,500.
Under the bonnet, the 175kW/350Nm 2.0-litre is brand new and is the first Lexus turbocharged powerplant.
Fuel consumption for the front-driver scores 7.7l/100kms while the AWD variants are rated at 7.9l/100kms.
Specifications mirror the NX 300h.
