Citroen has wheeled-out an updated lineup for its slick C4 hatchback with prices starting from $29,990.
Big changes under the bonnet with the diesel version no longer available and petrol power coming from PSA’s turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine.
With 96kW/230Nm, the turbo 1.2-litre drives exclusively via a six-speed automatic transmission and is actually more powerful than the previous 88kW/160Nm atmo four-cylinder.
Fuel consumption is also significantly improved with the entry-level Seduction model listed at 4.9l/100kms (combined-cycle) and the range-topping Seduction at 5.1l/100kms (combined-cycle).
Citroen has also significantly upped the ante in standard specifications with both models boasting a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation.
Over the Seduction, range-topping Citroen C4 Exclusive adds items such as interior leather, 17-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic glass roof, massage function for the drivers’ seat, reversing camera, blindspot monitoring, front parking sensors and some extra exterior chrome.
The new Citroen C4 range looks like this:
| C4 Seduction | $29,990 |
| C4 Exclusive | $33,990 |
