Hold on there hot-shot it might not get to Australia but word on the street is BMW upcoming high-performance M2 coupe will join the larger M5 in being offered with xDrive all-wheel-drive.
In some countries.
With some clever technology it’s claimed the M2 will be lighter than the current M235i hence adding a few extra kilos with AWD will be offset by the dynamic advantages of all-paw grip.
Of course launch for the BMW M2 is still some months away but there are some spy shots doing the rounds which purport to show an M2 with driveshafts to the front wheels.
Ah, what the heck, AWD or rear-wheel-drive, M5 or M2, we just want one…or preferably both!
