Some minor technical updates ring-in the 2014 model year Toyota 86 coupe but pleasingly the starting price remains unchanged at $39,990 for the GT manual and other models have increased by only $300 (GT automatic) and $500 (both GTS models).
The range-topping Toyota 86 GTS version now scores a standard rear spoiler while the GT automatic adds the Torsion differential which has always been standard on other models.
A joint venture with Subaru, the Toyota 86 is Australia’s best selling sports car this year with total sales already exceeding 4,800 units.
Toyota says changes for the 2014 lineup are in direct response to feedback from customers.
The 2014 lineup is:
GT manual $29,990 (no change)
GT automatic $32,790 (+$300)
GTS manual $35,990 (+$500)
GTS automatic $38,490 (+$500)
