Subaru’s excellent BRZ sports car, like its twin the Toyota 86, has been a sales phenomenon. Subaru Australia cleverly opted to sell its allocation of BRZs exclusively on-line and within three hours of going ‘live’ in July had sold its total of 201 cars through to the end of December 2012 production.
In fact Subaru Australia is now holding back-orders through to November 2013.
But good news is at hand for Subaru BRZ buyers – extra production has been secured from parent company Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) during February and March which means local buyers who were not expecting delivery of their BRZ until May will now receive their cars earlier.
In total Subaru Australia has managed to garner an extra 140 BRZs.
Ordered on-line the Subaru BRZ has a ‘Driveaway’ price starting from $37,150.
