Hyundai Australia has boosted the ix35 compact SUV lineup with the introduction of the latest R-series 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine.
Available in the ix35 SE model, the 2.0L R-series CRDi delivers a handy 135kW of power at 4000rpm and peak torque of 392Nm from 1800rpm. Combined cycle fuel consumption is rated at 7.5l/100kms.
Drive is to the front wheels or all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.
Imported from Kia is Europe, the SE model ix35 boasts plenty of kit including a unique front bumper with inset fog-lights, automatic projector headlights, solar control glass, privacy tint for the rear windows and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Inside there’s plenty of leather (seats, steering wheel and gear lever), six-speaker/five-inch touchscreen audio, rear-vision camera and both front and rear seats are set for the winter with heating.
