Volkswagen has launched a unique Australian edition of its hot-selling Tiguan compact SUV called the Tiguan ‘Pacific’.
Based on the petrol-engined Tiguan 132TSI, the Pacific version gains extra kit and is sharply priced at $33,490.
Included in the extras are the excellent Volkswagen Park Assist 2 system, front fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone climate control air, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlights.
No changes to the drivetrain – Volkswagen’s turbo-2.0-litre delivering 132kW/280Nm and driving all four wheels via the 4MOTION system and six-speed manual or six-speed Tiptronic automatic.
