Kia’s highly-commended Sorento mid-size SUV has been upgraded for the 2011 model year with some interior improvements and extra technology but largely unchanged prices.
The entry-level 2WD Sorento Si petrol automatic is still $36,490, the Si diesel is unchanged at $39,990 (maual) and $41,990 (automatic). SLi and Platinum models have increased by only $200 to $46,190 and $49,190.
As part of the improvements, all Kia Sorento models now come with Bluetooh technology and a headlight ‘escort’ system which leaves the low beam lights on for a time to assist night-time exit from the vehicle.
Sorento SLi and Platinum models score an improved rear-view camera system with a higher resolution image and parking guidance lines. As well, the range-topping models gain a leather-wrapped instrument cluster.
