Driving the best car on the Suv market is great fun. I have mine for just about 8 months and driven it for Sydney to the Gold Coast. With 2 kids in the back and 2 in front. The ASX was just the car for the job . The petrol was fine on the money. Room in the car was just big . The only the we left at home was my fish rod . We dont have on board navman so my own navman did the job ,

Bought my asx 12 months ago second hand and it is a fun car to drive.fuel economy is excellent and it handles well. Two problems which neither the Holden dealer I bought it from or our local Mitsubishi service agent have heard of are quite annoying. On a long trip there is a grating rattle which develops at the left rear of the vehicle, quite often on an uphill road. The problem is that it doesn't happen all the time.Holden dealer has supposedly lubricated the exhaust hangers and I have checked many times for anything loose in the back including spare wheel well.Other problem is a rattle under the bonnet particularly as soon as the engine is started. It does eventually go. Local Mitsubishi service people say it could be the heat plate behind the manifold or any one of the plastic components covering the motor but I can't find anything loose.
Great Car! Excellent on Fuel!

Absolutely love this car. I have the 4WD Diesel Aspire. Extremely good on fuel, quiet to run but still has the diesel grunt :) I got the panoramic sunroof and have 2 bike racks on top which beefs it up even more. Definitely worth considering for a city SUV.
