Toyota has joined the new vehicle finance revolution, announcing a zero per-cent finance offer for Camry and Aurion models.
The offer covers all Camry, Camry Hybrid and V6 Aurion variants.
Toyota says the zero per-cent finance offer is the latest installment in its ‘Local Pride’ campaign which seeks to reinforce the value position of models produced at its Altona, Victoria plant in the face of imported vehicles which are enjoying the strength of the Australian dollar.
Of course Toyota too is the beneficiary of the surging local currency with its range of Toyota and Lexus vehicles imported from Japan and Thailand.
“Zero per-cent is a way to encourage Australians to rediscover the value and other attributes of cars we build here,” explained Toyota Australia’s sales and marketing chief Matthew Callachor. “It means more Australians than ever will be able to experience the style, driving appeal, advanced features and quality of Toyota cars that are built with passion and pride.”
Toyota is Australia’s biggest automotive manufacturer and has cleverly captured massive export business to maintain the viability of its local manufacturing facility. In fact Toyota exports more Camry and Aurion models than it sells locally – mostly to markets in the Middle East.
