Good news for Lexus families with the launch of an aftermarket premium rear seat entertainment system for RX350 and 450h models.
The twin slim-line screens are a widescreen eight-inch design suitable for video, music and games.
Each unit has an integrated slide-loading DVD slot, USB port for connectivity with digital cameras and MP3 players, an SD card slot and an AUX input to connect gaming consoles. With a remote control or easy-to-reach manual controls, the units can be operated independently or simultaneously.
Sound can be fed through infrared wireless headphones.
As you would expect from Lexus, the units fit neatly and securely to the back of the front seats and are designed to match the interior of the RX models with a suitably integrated premium look and feel.
Safety has been tested so the active front head-restraints work unimpeded and the units have rounded corners to minimize the risk of injury in a severe impact.
The full colour, high resolution screens are in WVGA widescreen format so picture quality is excellent.
