British racer Andy Wallace has been reunited with the glorious Silk Cut Jaguar XJ-R9 LM which he steered to victory in the 1988 Le Mans 24-Hour race (which your www.carshowroom.com.au correspondent viewed from pit-lane).
The scene was the Silverstone race circuit in England and was part of a film produced to highlight the new Jaguar XJR high-performance road car.
The track action took place day and night as Jaguar promoted the XJR’s LED headlights.
