MINI fans anticipating the latest installment from the BMW-owned British brand will have to wait until November.
But the 18 November date of simultaneous reveals at the MINI plant in Oxford as well as Los Angeles and Tokyo is significant as it will be 107 years since the birthday of the brilliant designer/engineer who started it all – Sir Alec Issigonis.
Hence the choice of the historic Oxford plant premiere (the Tokyo and Los Angeles unveilings are those cities’ respective motor shows.
MINI says its newcomer will be a premium compact model.
