Volvo’s acclaimed XC90 full-size SUV is the first vehicle to score 100 per-cent in several Euro NCAP testing procedures en-route to the maximum five-star rating.
The XC90 was the first vehicle to score maximum points in Euro NCAP Autonomous Emergency Braking Cat to Car rear-end tests (AEB City & AEB interurban) and also in the Safety Assist category.
“We are the first car manufacturer to surpass the criteria that Euro NCAP has applied to the AEB Interurban and City testing procedures,” revealed Volvo Australia chief Kevin McCann. “NCAP’s 100 per-cent rating in the Safety Assist category is further proof what with Volvo XC90 we have developed one of the safest cars in the world.”
