Things are looking up at Swedish brand Volvo is the Concept XC Coupe is a guide.
The second of three all-new Volvo designs to share the company’s new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) – the first was the Concept Coupe – the XC is a two-door four-seater.
And the latest model – designed for adventure seekers – goes down the SUV route with a taller roofline, bolder wheel-arches and massive 21-inch wheels.
There’s also a new bonnet and revised beltline but the long snout look carries over.
Functionality steps-up too with features inspired by Swedish sports brand POC – highlights include orange graphics and matte rubber mouldings at the rear.
This is clearly a pointer to future generations of Volvo XC models and shows things are getting distinctly sporty at Volvo.
