Car Showroom was at the Tokyo Motor Show last year when Volkswagen pulled the covers from its magnificently-styled plug-in petrol-electric Cross Coupe concept.
This week, Volkswagen brings an updated version to the Geneva Motor Show which is even kinder to the planet.
For its European debut, the Volkswagen Cross Coupe adopts a direct-injection turbo-diesel engine and twin electric motors.
Boasting 225kW of power, Volkswagen says the Cross Coupe concept will deliver remarkable combined cycle fuel consumption of just 1.8l/100kms and exhaust C02 emissions as low as 46g/km.
