Volkswagen has confirmed the award-winning Scirocco R coupe will go on-sale locally early next year.

The Volkswagen Scirocco looks brilliant – quite dramatic with its sporty styling highlighted by sharply-angled rear three-quarters, a large roof spoiler and racy 19-inch alloy wheels.
Under the bonnet is Volkswagen’s 2.0-litre TSI engine with 188kW/330Nm. Adaptive chassis control is standard and Volkswagen Scirocco buyers can opt for Volkswagen’s DSG direct-shift transmission, sports suspension and XDL (extended electronic differential lock).
Inside is lots of Volkswagen ‘R’ kit including sports seats.
