Customers ordering 2013 Volkswagen vehicles in the U.K. – the entire range from Polo to Phaeton – can specify digital radios.
The U.K is about to switch to digital radio so the German giant is predictably ahead of the game.
Maximizing the benefits of the improved audio, all Volkswagen models sold in Britain from next year will have a minimum of six speakers (most will have eight). Volkswagen’s MDI multi-device interface will still be optional and of course Beetle models can still be ordered with an optional audio system developed by legendary guitar brand Fender.
