Volvo has rolled-out comprehensively updated models of the slick S60 sedan and V60 wagon headlined by new styling and more power (242kW) for the Polestar-tweaked turbocharged six-cylinder T6 R-Design models.

Most noticeable is the front-end – more dynamic thanks to many detail changes including new headlights, less chrome, a larger Volvo badge (the current theme amongst car designers) and a wider grille. There’s also a new choice of wheels including sporty 19-inch alloys which retain the same profile height as the 18s (hence improved ride comfort).

Inside, the already classy Scandinavian design is boosted by new sport seats, new colours, new wood inlays, a new headliner and silk-look metal finishes.

R-Design models gain matt black grilles, aero add-ons including rear diffuser, new 19-inch alloy wheels and a sporty interior highlighted by new perforated leather seats, a charcoal headliner and paddle-shift gear changes (optional on T4 versions).
