More power, more technology and even more luxury are the highlights of the updated Bentley Continental unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
Headlining acts are the global debuts of the high-performance Bentley Continental 6.0-litre W12 GT Speed and the new Flying Spur 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8. The flagship Bentley Mulsanne also debuts more comfort and advanced infotainment options.
The Bentley Continental GT Speed is powered by what we reckon is the world’s ultimate mass-production engine – the Volkswagen-developed 6.0-litre W12 with a stunning 467kW/820Nm delivering a top speed of 331km/h – the fastest Bentley so far. Styling sees a front splitter, discreet side skirts, rear diffuser and massive 21-inch ‘Speed’ alloy wheels, while inside is a new colour split exclusive to the GT model.
Joining its W12-powered Flying Spur flagship is a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 model offering 373kw/660Nm. Styling changes for the V8 model include ‘figure of eight’ exhaust tailpipes and a red centre for the famous Bentley winged badge (traditionally reserved for V8-powered models).
