The Mazda6 – a Car Showroom Favourite mid-sizer – now benefits from some important high-tech safety additions.
Called a ‘Safety Pack’, the optional inclusion for Sport, Touring and GT models brings the i-ACTIVSENSE technologies which are standard in range-topping Atenza models.
The pack includes Blind Spot Monitoring, Smart City Brake Support, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and an auto-dimming rear mirror.
Range-topping Mazda6 Atenza adds Smart City Brake Support as standard.
Mazda6 models fitted with the Safety Pack also benefit from the inclusion of a temporary spare tyre which boost cargo capacity by 45-litres (sedan) and 55-litres (wagon) to 483 and 506-litres respectively.Mazda says the temporary spare tyre and increased cargo capacity will be rolled-out across all Mazda6 models.
There’s also a change in paint colours with ‘Stormy Blue Mica’ being replaced by ‘Deep Crystal Blue Mica’.
