Updated Ford Focus Gains Extra Tech But No Price Changes

In our book the Ford Focus rivals the Mazda3 for the title of best small car on the market.

And it seems the world is following our recommendation with the Ford Focus the global best-selling nameplate last year, racking-up 1,097,618 sales, up 8.1 per-cent on 2012.
 
Now Ford has raised the bar again with the launch of the updated Focus range with extra features but no changes to the prices which start from, $20,290.

Amongst the updates, entry level Ford Focus Ambiente gains standard rear parking sensors, mid grade Trend adopts dual zone climate control and the features previously included in the ‘Convenience Pack’ (rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, auto-dimming rear-view mirror and ‘follow-me-home’ lighting).
 
Stepping-up, the Sport model scores the Ford Keyfree system while Ford Focus Titanium adds a power sunroof.
 
The optional ‘Sports Executive Pack’ which brings hadny extras like  Adaptive Cruise Control, Active City Stop and HID headlights is now very sharply priced at $1,200 (down from $2,300).
