This is the British Trident Iceni which its makers claim is the world’s fastest and most fuel-efficient diesel-powered sports car.
Trident says the Iceni has a top speed in excess of 306km/h and can cover around 3,200kms on s single tank of mineral or bio-diesel fuel.
AS well as the sports car, Trident has announced the availability of the Iceni Magna (fastback) and Venturer (wagon).
Despite a starting price of around $175,000, Trident says global demand is so high there is already a waiting list.
No word on any possible Australian plans.
