A Bright Year Head for Trading Post Racing
Trading Post, one of Australia’s favourite places to buy and sell, is partnering with Albury-based Brad Jones Racing to form Trading Post Racing to tackle the Australian V8 Supercar Series – which kicks off overseas in Abu Dhabi, UAE on 18 February.
The Trading Post Racing car will be one of the standouts on the racetrack, with a bright orange duco, and will be sure to create a great visual experience for fans watching at the track, on TV or on their mobile.
“The V8 Supercars and Trading Post are a great fit. With automotive being such a significant part of our business, it made sense to get behind a V8 Supercar team and be involved in one of Australia’s most popular national sporting competitions,” Michael Padden, Head of Trading Post, said.
Experienced campaigner Jason Bright will be driving the Trading Post Racing Commodore – part of a two-car team run by the Jones Brothers Brad and Kim (the other team car is the Team BOC Commodore).
The Jones team takes a huge leap forward in 2010 with their racing VE Commodores being built completely in-house at the team’s Albury workshop.
“The Brad Jones Racing Team has put a strong package together and with Trading Post’s support, I believe we now have all the ingredients in place to make a real run for this year’s V8 Supercar Championship,” Jason Bright revealed.
First on-track appearance for Trading Post Racing will be the season-opening test day at Winton Raceway, Victoria on 8 February.
